Hello fellow travelers!

Welcome to the September issue of "On the Road." This month, we have lots of great stories and tips to share from our wonderful community of travel nurses.

Nurse Phoenix's Mountain Adventure

Globetrotter nurse Phoenix has embarked on their next travel nursing assignment, this time bound for the majestic mountains of Denver, Colorado!

After an amazing stint soaking up the California sun in San Diego, Phoenix is ready for a new chapter out west. They will be based at the highly-ranked University of Colorado Hospital in the vibrant city of Denver.

When not caring for patients, Phoenix looks forward to skiing fresh powder, hiking mountain trails, and exploring the dining and arts scene. They have already befriended fellow outdoor enthusiast nurses.

We know Phoenix will miss the ocean breezes of Southern California. However, they are thrilled to continue their nursing adventures in the Mile High City and take in the natural splendor of the Rockies. We can't wait to follow along on Phoenix's travels!

Trustaff and Ingenovis at Travcon!

Our booth is #700! Make sure you have a list of booths to visit and make sure ours is on your list. Stop by to say hello to our team and our 10 recruiters attending. We will have both nursing and allied recruiters on site at the event – so there’s a chance to connect and ask any questions you may have. We will also have all the beloved swag and freebies to hand out. We would love to have you leave Vegas with something from Trustaff, whether it be one of our freebies or some new knowledge from our team. Don’t forget to stop by the Ingenovis Health booth to learn more about the ACT program and our house of brands. They’re our near neighbors at booth #705. The Ingenovis Health booth will have a professional massage therapist giving out chair massages while you learn more about the benefits available through the Ingenovis Health ACT Program.

Self-Care for Nurses on the Move

With busy travel schedules, don't forget to prioritize self-care! Eat healthy snacks, stay hydrated, and get enough rest between shifts. Make time each day for exercise, meditation, or calling loved ones. Get out in nature when possible for fresh air and stress relief. Give yourself grace on rough days. Lean on nurse colleagues for support. You can't care for others without caring for yourself first!
